Internal Sales CS Representative
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is a technical related role and a key position within the overall NZ sales activity, involved in telephone sale for our hydraulic and hose fitting components, customer liaison and the provision of exceptional customer support at all times. The incumbent provides a liaison between the sales force, the various internal functions, and external customers to coordinate the processing of customer orders for all products or technical requests pertaining to assigned product lines and/or accounts.
Sell hydraulic components and hose fittings through telephone
Serve as the focus internal company representative and the central information source for customers, sales personnel and other functions
Evaluate problems, determine and initiate appropriate action and provide necessary information relative to product application, current orders, delivery schedules, product availability, etc., by maintaining close contact and a harmonious relationship with customers, suppliers and internal activities
Confer with sales management and other internal functions to determine pricing, establish delivery priorities, resolve supply issues and communicate with customers as appropriate, in a proactive and customer focused manner
Assume total responsibility for the processing of customer orders, from Order entry to shipment of product, including the selection/recommendation of alternative products, if necessary, in conjunction with appropriate Sales Engineer and other Company technical personnel, products sourcing, coordination of product conversion through the warehouse, routine credits, etc.
Act as the Company’s internal Champion for an assigned region and/or group of customers, ensuring that quality and timely service is provided
Assist Product Sales Management with specialist technical support, local product procurement and pricing
Experience in customer service procedures and typical application of products
3-5 years’ experience in technical sales activities
Tertiary Engineering qualifications or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous hydraulics industry exposure preferred
Computer literacy in MS office and Oracle/SAP or similar
Legal ability to work in New Zealand
